MRBA CAMP-OUT and JAM June 11-13 2021
The annual MRBA camp-out and jam will June 11-13 aprox 1 mile up Hughes creek. The assoc will supply hot-dogs and pies on sat. Pot-lucks at 6pm… To get to Hughes creek…head south of Darby (aprox 4 miles) ——-turn up the West Fork highway (#473)—- follow the highway up and around the left side of Painted Rock Lake…Turn left at Hughes Creek and go aprox 1 mile…… right on Thunder Mtn road and we are on the left… watch for signs…. ALL BLUEGRASS LOVERS WELCOME…. Come join in the FUN…free camping, hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, swimming (for the brave), jamming and enjoying friends… See you there.. Mike (head pot-luck eater guy)
Gibbonsville Camp-out
The Gibbonsville camp-out and jam is ON for Sept 11,12 and 13 2020. Potluck sat evening and sunday morning. Come join in the pickin’ and grinnin’ for the last bluegrass campout of the summer… Mike
MRBA Bluegrass Campout
Come join us May 12th, 13th 14th (THE DATE IN NEWSLETTER WAS INCORRECT) for our annual Bluegrass Campout. Free camping, biking, 4 wheeling, swimming (for the brave), camp fires, hiking, pot-lucks at 6pm, lots of jamming and visiting with friendly folks. We’ll have heated wall tents for late night jamming and pop-ups for shade and rain protection.
Directions– go aprox 4 1/2 miles south of Darby—-turn right up the West Fork Highway—– go around left side of Painted Rocks Lake——just past 29 mile marker turn left up Hughes Creek…. go aprox 1 mile and turn right on Thunder Mtn Road.. Memorial Weekend Bluegrass Campout
Hi.. Things are still up in the air about our Memorial Weekend Campout. Tari and I will be there but we’ll just have to wait to see what the government gathering restrictions will be then… Keep your fingers crossed… Mike and Tari

Masonic Lodge jam CANCELED
Just heard there are 4 confirmed cases of Corona Virus in Mt… Tomorrows jam (March 14th, 2020) is CANCELED. Ne sense in taking chances.. Mike
MRBA jam and potluck Feb 8th
MRBA potluck and jam this saturday at the Masonic Hall in Missoula (126 East Broadway). Free harmony workshop at 3-4 pm, free slow jam workshop at 4:30- 5:30. Potluck at 6 pm. 4-5 different jam circles. Lots of friendly folks, come join in the fun.. Mike (head potluck sampler guy)
2020 MRBA Bluegrass Festival
The 2020 MRBA Old-time Bluegrass Festival and Fundraiser with be starting at 12 noon at the Lone Rock School on Saturday, April 18th. Many bands will play. Come join in the fun and support the MRBA
Christmas Party, Meeting, and Jam.. Dec 14th.
Come to our Annual Christmas Party, annual meeting, and gift exchange, Saturday- Dec 14th, at the Masonic Lodge – 126 East Broadway Street in Missoula.
